The annual Southern California Yachting Association Midwinters Regatta took place in Los Angeles February 17-18.
The J/70 fleet saw Jeff Janov’s NIMBUS eclipse the fleet with five firsts in seven races to take the win. Second went to Curt Johnson’s AVET 2.01 in a tight battle with Jim Murrell’s HUCKLEBERRY, who settled for third place. For SCYA Midwinters details, visit https://www.calyachtclub.com/regattas.
